Rollercoaster

So, we have been back on feeds again and Alyssa is up to 20cc's per hour via the feeding tube. This is where we were last week when she started throwing up. So, I am a little fearful for what today and tomorrow will bring. Let's keep our fingers crossed. So her goal on the continuous feeds is 24 cc's per hour. Which is very close. If she is able to tolerate the feeds, she will be coming home, but with the feeding tube and a machine to administer her formula continously. Not our ideal situation but at least we would be going home.

I put Alyssa in her swing for the first time. She seems okay with it so far.

Take care,

Kim, NJ and Alyssa

Our thoughts are with all of you, what a bumpy road you have all been on. I know it will get better! Alyssa is sure a precious little girl, and surely a strong little one as well. I'm sure it doesn't seem soon enough but you will be home soon, taking care of your sweet little girl. Let us know if there is anything we can do. I would love to come down, I know the boys can't come, but I would like to come and see all of you. I know you guys are busy but if there is a good time to come down, please let me know. I have tried to give you guys your space in this tough time and I understand if you would rather me wait, but I would love to be of some support to you guys. Love you all!! Love, Alex, Lexie, Kayden and Carsten

Kim, all the words can't express how much Sophia and I feel for you and NJ! You know God has your best interests! And it is okay to be pissed off at him right now! But he will bring Alyssa home soon! Keep your strength up and hopefully this will all be a distant memory soon. But please know Sophia and I have you, NJ and Alyssa in our prayers. If there is anything I can do to take some burden off you please let me know. I will see you on Wednesday afternoon!!! Hugs, Susan

PS: I put this in the wrong date which it should have been for today's posting. So me! :)
