9.21.13 Grandpa's in Heaven

Both kids crawled up with Grandpa and fell asleep.  He was in Grandpa heaven, until his arms started to fall asleep, then his legs started to get tired.

9.12.13 Second Tooth Lost

I lost my second tooth last night.  I woke up in the morning and noticed that my tooth was gone.  Mommy and Daddy every where for my tooth.  They tore my bed apart, looked under the bed, but were unable to find it.  So, I guess, I ate it AGAIN!!  Mommy and Daddy were really bummed that I didn't have a tooth for the tooth fairy.

The tooth fairy still came and brought me a book.

9.20.13 Soccer Practice

Miss Eileen, my physical therapist, is holding soccer practice. I was so excited to play and did very well.

Zachary enjoyed playing on the play ground and climbed up one of the tunnel slides.

9.20.13 Hair Cut

Mommy finally broke down and got Zachary's Hair cut.  He looks like a different kid.  Still adorable!  The ladies at the hair cut were amazed at how well he did for his first haircut.

9.18.13 Happy Birthday, Daddy

Today is Daddy's birthday.  I wanted to take him to dinner and dress fancy.  We had a fun evening and enjoyed birthday pie at home.

9.15.13 Climber

Zachary decided to scale our entire staircase today.  He climbed all 15 stairs with ease and quickness.

9.13.13 Throwing In The Towel

We decided to throw in the towel and remove Zachary's Scleral Shell.  His eye lids continue to be red, irritated and swollen.  He has been having a rough time and
We are going to wait a minimum of a few months before trying again the ocularist is consulting with Zachary's doctor to put a game plan together. He is reacting quite a bit and is not a happy camper!! We want to get the process under way by the time he is 2 so we have a while, but the sooner the better.

9.12.12 New Tooth

Zachary's 6th tooth came in. 4 on top now. Left lateral incisor.

9.10.13 Second Attempt

We are attempting to have Zachary wear a Scleral shell again. Todd, our ocularist, decided to decrease the size and thickness of the shell since Zachary had a severe reaction the first go around.  Zachary was a little upset when it was being placed however, he recovered very quickly.  He did rub his left eye, but that is to be expected. As you can see, the shell opens up his eye and makes it look closer in size to his right eye. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this works! It was Christie's birthday and she gave Zachary a flower, since he was admiring the flowers while we were there.  He loves flowers and it sounds like he says flower too.

9.7.13 Birthday Parties

Today is Zachary's Actual Birthday. I can't believe how quickly the past year has gone and my baby is now 1!!

Zachary really likes an Elmo toy we have, so we decided to have an Elmo themed 1st Birthday party for him. I had fun doing the decorations and making his cake.  Zachary did really well with his cake.  He was a little timid at first, but quickly dug in.  It was really cute, he would take breaks in between bites to take a drink of milk. He started to get the hang of opening gifts too.

Wide awake at midnight.  Must be eagerly anticipating his party??!!

Pre-party Nap.

 Dorothy Fish Crackers
Party Favor using baby food jars.

Alyssa picked the them of the Grinch this year.  She really doesn't pick anything girly or easy!  I stressed quite a bit on what to do about her cake and decorations.  I am really happy with how it turned out.  She really liked the cake and told me she loved it.  That is truly what matters.  She said the cake was delicious and that I am the best Mommy ever.  That made me feel so good.  We had a Grinch Pinata (Alyssa says it's not a party without a Pinata.) and played pin the heart on the Grinch. We had "Who" Hash Dogs, "Who" Pudding, Grinch Cake Balls along with tons of cake and ice cream.
