Sick Household

I started off last week feeling better but by the end of the week I was not doing well at all. Daddy and I both were not feeling well. Daddy was complaining of a sore throat when mommy looked at Daddy's throat and saw white dots on his tonsils, she called the doctor and sent him on his way. He has strep so mommy made an appointment for me too. Monday we received the confirmation that I have strep too. We are both doing better now thanks to our antibiotics. We are headed to Idaho for vacation next week. It will be nice to spend lots of time with Daddy. Mommy is thankful and shocked that she didn't get it.

One of the days when I was feeling well last week. . . .Mommy, Daddy and I were playing outside and I decided it was a good idea to wash Daddy's car. So I went and grabbed a bucket and got Mommy to put some water in it. The next thing Mommy knew I was standing at Daddy's car with a sponge and washing his car.

I still love playing in the water. Mommy let me fill my pool up with water. It doesn't matter to me that I am in my shoes, socks and clothes. Nothing stops me from jumping in the pool. My friend Kamryn came over the other day and I showed her how to go down the slide and into the pool. She loved it about as much as I do.

Rough Week

I had a really rough week last week and really scared Mommy. I was very fussy all week . . . . On Wednesday, Ryan's 4th Angel Day (Mommy can't believe it), I didn't have an appetite and hardly ate anything. Which is VERY unusual. That night I was really whinny and when mommy asked me what hurt I pointed to my bottom. Mommy took me to the bathroom and I went potty but that didn't help much. I still felt icky. I was very restless at night and woke up a few times crying. Thursday wasn't much better. My stomach was distended and I randomly would scream out in pain. I didn't like it when Mommy touched my tummy. Friday started off the same so Mommy called my pediatrician who would rather I go to Children's with anything dealing with my tummy. We were able to get an appointment. But it was with a doctor we have never met before. He said that they wouldn't do anything unless it progressively got worse and/or I stopped stooling. Mommy was a little discouraged because the doctor seemed to disregard her concern and implied she was over reacting. But she knows me and she knew that I wasn't acting or eating normal. He was trying to pass my lack of eating as a typical 2 year old. He obviously has never seen me eat!!!! Mommy says I eat more then her. But needless to say I am feeling better and back to my normal self. Which makes mommy happy.

A couple weeks ago I figured out how to zip a zipper. Here is a video of me practicing. I have a little trouble zipping it back up at times and get frustrated. But I am working on it. (I was getting it just fine until mommy pulled out the camera. . . . .)
