4.28.12 Opening Day
Daddy took me fishing for opening day. I was very excited. I have my own fishing pole and was very eager to catch a fish. (Daddy, didn't put a hook on my pole for every one's safety.) We woke up at 4:30AM to head to the lake. It was neat watching it get lighter and lighter as the sun came up. I lasted for about 30 minutes and was ready to go home. We packed up and started heading for home, but along the way, we saw another lake and decided to fish some more. I lasted another 30 minutes here and wanted to go home. So, Mommy and I headed home and left Daddy to continue fishing. We went home for about 1 1/2 hours and went back to pick up Daddy. He had caught two fish, which I eagerly held and showed off. The Fish and Wildlife People thought I was so cute, holding the fish, they took my picture and it might be put on their facebook page. We will keep you updated. I was excited to take our fish home and put them in a bucket. (She didn't realize they weren't alive.) Overall, I spent about 1 1/2 hours fishing. Not too bad for my first time. I had a good time and am ready to go again.
4.23.12 Potato Soup Anyone?
I LOVE THE SUNSHINE!!
Monday after school I convinced Mommy to take me outside and play.
One Bucket + One Shovel + a hose = over 2 1/2 hours of fun!
Want some potato soup. . . .

4.22.12 Manicure and Pedicure
Today I wanted Mommy to paint my toes. I wanted red toes and then for the first time ever asked to have my finger nails painted too. Then, I painted Mommy's not bad for my first time if you ask me.
4.14.12 Jump Rope
The Easter Bunny brought me a Jump Rope. Today it was nice enough to try it out. I wasn't successful, but I had a great time trying.
4.8.12 Easter
The Easter Bunny came today and left me an Easter Basket full of goodies and hid eggs around the house. I enjoyed looking for them and found them all pretty quickly. My favorite thing that the Easter Bunny left was the movie Rio. I had to watch it right away.

4.10.12 Dentist Attempt
I made another attempt at the dentist today. I cried when I crawled up on the chair, but settled down when mommy sat down with me. I opened up my mouth for them to look in, but only allowed them to put one finger in my mouth for about 30 seconds. This is the most I have done, but still not a success. They wanted to count my teeth, but I wouldn't let them. Mommy says one more attempt before we try a Pediatric Dentist. I was very excited to get a new toothbrush though. I was showing everyone in the dental office my toothbrush and the neat little bag it came in. I told Mommy and Daddy that I was a good girl at the dentist and got a new toothbrush. I told mommy I opened my mouth and let them count my teeth. Hmmmm. . . . . . . she understand what she needs to do, so I guess we will work on my putting my fingers in her teeth and counting her teeth.

4.6.12 Animals
I love seeing all the wild life. I beg to go for rides in the golf cart. We mainly look for rabbits and dogs. My two favorite dogs to visit with are Truffles and Princess Jasmine. They are friendly dogs, that are really good with kids.
Kids say the funniest things. . . I have no idea why, but instead of calling Truffles owner Mr. Lou like we refer to him, Alyssa called him the Old Man. We would drive by and say who lives there? Alyssa would reply Truffles and the old man. Hilarious. I have no idea where she came up with that, I don't recall ever referring to someone as an old man.
4.5.12 Children's Museum
The next thing on our agenda was to visit the Children's Museum. I enjoy going to ours, so it was exciting visiting a new one. My favorite thing was the Garden and Grocery store room. I loved pushing around the grocery carts and filling it up with fruits, vegetables and cheese. Mommy checked me out and bagged my groceries. I also liked making smoothies and picking vegetables out of the garden and fruit from the trees. We spent over 2 1/2 hours in the museum and didn't want to leave.
4.2 & 4.3.12 Triplet Fun
We had to wait until our second week to see the triplets. They were battling colds so, we put off seeing them. The first day we went to "Pump It Up" which is a warehouse full of bouncy houses. This was the first time Kari had ventured out to something like this with her three girls. (and it may be the last for a while). Alyssa had a great time bouncing but it was difficult to get 4 girls to agree on being in the same spot at the same time. But everyone was worn out and ready for naps! So, it was a success in that aspect.
The next day, we ventured to the zoo. We got to see the 5 new elephants and their new habitat. I enjoyed watching one of the elephants dig and throw dirt. One favorite spots for everyone seemed to be the duck area. It was fun watching all the girls standing on one leg like flamingos. Everyone enjoyed seeing all the baby ducks swimming around. The triplets were very well mannered and agreeable which was great since, I was very demanding and wanted everything my way and didn't want to share my mommy or grandparents.
The triplets are on a strict schedule, so when they left, we stayed behind and saw more of the animals. We were able to see the Polar Bear which wasn't out on our first visit. I enjoyed playing music, standing on rocks and running around. Our second visit to the elephants, resulted in me seeing the baby and one adult elephant pooping, which was hilarious!!!! (Goodness, what catches the attention of a 3 year old.)
3.29.12 Horse Back Riding
Grandpa had a list of activities to keep me busy for two weeks. One of my favorites was going Horse Back riding. I got to ride two different horses, a white one named Hondo and a Brown one named Frosty. The horses were at the Caverns. I wanted to go for a hike after the horses, but mommy said no. I was upset, but she said she knew that she would have to carry me and that I am too big to carry for a mile hike. (Mommy must be getting weak, I don't understand why she can't carry me all the time. I am only 43 inches tall and weigh 40 pounds.)
3.27.12 Zoo Day One
We usually go to the zoo a few times while visiting Tucson. I had a great time feeding the Giraffes again. I also got to pet a snake. I really enjoyed it and kept asking to see its face. Mommy wasn't so thrilled. I got to see the new "TRIPLET" lion cubs and Rajah the Tiger. I was upset that I didn't get to "Meet" them. Mommy says they are not like the animals in my movies.
3.26.12 Swimming
I was very excited to be in the heat. . . .I was able to go swimming everyday that I wanted. I actually went swimming within 2 hours of arriving. Grammy and Grandpa got me this great swimsuit that has a life jacket built in. It gave me a lot of confidence that I was swimming around the pool all by myself. I had so much fun and was wearing myself out. I even took a nap a few of the days of our vacation. Mommy says she was shocked and wished I would do that at home :0) I was able to convince Grammy and Grandpa at different times to join me in the pool. I pretended Grammy was a water slide and was bouncing off her into the pool. Grandpa and I played monster and sharks in the pool and were trying to get mommy.
