Christmas

I had a really good Christmas Eve I left fudge and a cookie for Santa and an apple and an orange for the reindeer. In the morning, when we went downstairs I did not like the idea of having Santa in our house. I didn't want to have anything to do with my stocking. I wouldn't touch mine until daddy went through his. Next it was time for opening presents in front of the tree. I was excited to open the presents but as soon as mommy and daddy told me it was from Santa, I dropped the present and didn't want to open it. I ended up having a good time and loving my farm. We went to my Grandma and Grandpa Wejrowski's house and had lots of fun there too. My favorite present was a Goofy doll. I have played with it so much already, that he has already needed surgery to have his arm put back on.

I received a great pair of pajamas that my Auntie Michelle made for me.

I enjoy dressing up still.

One Morning mommy decided to make Mickey Mouse pancakes. I helped and LOVED THEM!! I ate 4.

Santa 2010

We went and saw Santa today. I was excited to see him, but when we started walking closer to him, I wasn't too sure. Then Mommy and Daddy made me sit on his lap. . . . I was not happy.

Dress Up

Alyssa is getting into trying on clothes. . .here she is having fun with random stuff she found around the house.

First Christmas Present Of 2010

I received my first Christmas present in the mail yesterday. I was so excited to open the package. The present said that I was able to open right away, so mommy let me open it. My Auntie Kari knitted me a Christmas Stocking and I immediately tried to put it on. It is a sock, right???

I Can Put On My Shoes

While on vacation I figured out that I could put on my sandals all by myself. I was putting on my sandals all the time along with everyone else's. When we got home I started putting on all my slip on shoes as well. I LOVE SHOES!!! I asked Alyssa to give a smile to mommy and this is what I got. What a ham!

Hawaii

We had a great last minute opportunity to go to Hawaii and we went on a family vacation. Tickets were cheap and luckily NJ had the week off, so we jumped on the chance to get some sun, heat and relaxation.

Alyssa did really well on the plane ride there. We even had people comment how well she did.

We played in the sand, sat by the pool, went swimming, down the water slide, and lots of dancing. We made a Fruit Loop Lei, Feed Koi Fish, I brushed every one's hair drank some yummy smoothies and started putting on my own shoes (along with everyone Else's).

Hide & Seek

Alyssa loves hiding hide & seek and is really getting the hang of it. She can play for at least an hour if not more, if she has enough people to play with and a big enough space.

At first you would put her in a spot and she would laugh and jump out and point at herself to let you know where she was hiding. Now she is getting really good and just sitting still and being quiet. She is even getting better at not picking completely obvious spots. She likes putting a blanket over her. If she can't see you, you can't see her even if she is right in the middle of the couch. . . .She likes hiding her toys, shoes, animals etc too, and having you find them, good thing is she shows you were to look. . . .it is very cute. When you have found her or she finds you, she usually tells you, one more time, which is her holding up one finger.

First Snow of 2010

It snowed for the first time this year and I was very excited to see it coming down. I begged mommy and daddy to take me out. So, I got all bundled up and braved the "treacherous cold" snow. I didn't like it very much. I didn't like how it was sticking to my jacket. I don't like being dirty.

She's a Genius

Alyssa loves books and we are constantly reading. She can now spell dog. She's a genius!!!

Well actually. . . . You ask her what D-O-G spells and she signs dog. So, close enough :o)

More Best Friend Pictures

Minnie is going every where that Alyssa is going lately. . . . .she eats with Alyssa (in her high chair), watches the bus, goes to the bathroom, sits on the floor, couch, her table & chairs, bed etc. etc If she isn't with her, she is signing "Mouse" and looking for her.

Best Friend

I have been hanging out with Minnie Mouse a lot the past few days. I enjoy reading books with her, giving her rides in the laundry basket and sitting at my table & chairs. I had mommy put pajamas on her and even a diaper so we look alike.

Halloween Party

I attended my first Halloween party. I had a lot of fun. It was at my friend Quinn's house. He is in the playgroup that I am in. I dressed up as a bumble bee since it was indoors. I wore my wings for 3 1/2 hours which really shocked Mommy. We colored pictures played games, ate and just had fun with my friends. We played a game in which you were to eat a donut off a string without using your hands. I didn't win. I used my hands, but I sure did like the donut. I really liked the spider rings. I was carrying around the bowl making sure that everyone had one. Mommy and I made cupcakes for the party. We made it look like there were worms crawling through the dirt. They were very yummy.

Trick-Or-Treat

I had so much fun this year when I went trick-or-treating. Mommy and Daddy took me out and had the intention of taking me to a few houses. But, I had so much fun and keep asking for more. I ended up going to about 12 houses. I would knock on the door and eagerly look for the bowl of treats. I wanted to go into the houses, but Mommy wouldn't let me. I was really good at saying thank you. I liked telling people what I was. Although, they didn't really understand me because I was signing thank you and monkey. I even got to eat a piece of my candy this year. (Last year I was told they were toys.) I picked a sucker. That was my candy of choice when I was given the option to pick my own. When I was done trick-or-treating, I had fun answering the door and waving to all the kids in their costumes.

Mommy thought she had a really good idea of buying finger paints so I could decorate my pumpkin this year. But, I didn't want to have anything to do with it. I HATE being dirty. I didn't want to put my hands in that goop! They kept asking me if I wanted to decorate my pumpkin and I repeatedly told them no. So Mommy and Daddy ended up painting it.

I hope everyone had a safe Halloween.
