When I woke up I was excited to see the presents that Santa left. But when we made our way downstairs, I wasn't so sure. I helped Mommy open her stocking, but was reluctant to open mine. I asked if there was a Big Pony and a Seashell in my stocking? When it was time to open presents, I kept asking, "Is it a seashell?" When I opened it up, I was disappointed it wasn't and was quick to throw it aside and open the next present. I wasn't excited about any of my presents. Mommy and Daddy were disappointed. I didn't ask for a Seashell. . . How was Santa suppose to know, when I suddenly started talking about one late Friday night. . . .man Santa, Mommy and Daddy felt bad. Mommy put in an emergency call to Santa (aka Aunt Jill and Uncle Dave, to see if they had any shells at their house. Luckily, they had some of the shell necklaces you get while in Hawaii. Mommy wrapped them up and put them under the tree at Grammy and Grandpa's.) Every present I opened at Grammy and Grandpa's house I was asking "Is it a seashell?" So I got to open the presents from Santa that he forgot to leave at my house, but they didn't suffice, I wanted one of those Large Conch Shells. Oh well, maybe next year, I will sit on Santa's lap to make sure I get what I want!!!

12.17.11 Christmas Lights At Warm Beach
Mommy, Daddy and I went and saw lots and lots of lights at the beach. I took a nap on the way to the lights so I was nice and rested! We had fun riding a train (that Daddy stood in line for an hour so I could ride!) and I got to ride a pony! I was very excited. The pony I rode was named Nutmeg. I was a little upset because I thought I was getting to ride the white pony that was behind Nutmeg. It was a great night spending time with mommy and daddy and looking at lights outside in the crisp winter night. Afterwards, we bought some yummy donuts!

11-29-11 Alyssa-isms
It is so much fun to watch Alyssa grow and develop. She has made huge improvements since starting school. She is talking so much and it is getting so fun to interact and have conversations with her. Some of the cute things she has said lately.
Her and I are sitting on the couch reading. She looks at me and says "Different book?" I say yes you can go get another book. Then reaches out and pats me on the head and says "Good job reading mama!"
We are the play ground and a girl comes near us and she says "Hi, Girl" and then as we are leaving she turns to her and says "Bye, Girl. See you in 3 weeks." Huh??? Not sure what that means.
She is walking up the steps on the bus and turns to me and says "See you soon, mama."

11-26-11 Bowling
We went to my Cousin Julia's 16th Birthday Party at a Bowling Alley. I got my own pair of bowling shoes and was excited to picked out my own ball. My first time with the ball wasn't a huge success I dropped the ball down and it rolled a little ways down the alley, and then rolled back. I tried again and it made it all the way down, but when it was half way down, I started running after it. And for those of you that know, the alley is greased and very slippery. So, I fell down and hit my head pretty bad. I was pretty upset, but mama and daddy convinced me to try it again. The owner of the alley brought this contraption to help me bowl. I had a great time and kept wanting to bowl some more, but mama and daddy said I need to wait my turn. They said I did really good being patient and waiting for my turn. I ended up bowling a 67 (they had the bumpers up, so that helped my score.)
Oh, Christmas Tree!
Thanksgiving
I have been very excited for Thanksgiving this year. I have been busy making Turkey's for everyone and going around saying Gobble, Gobble. I am enjoying art projects more and more and Mama and I have been spending a couple hours a week drawing, coloring and painting. Since we were having Thanksgiving dinner at our house, Mama had me make placemats for everyone coming. Mama traced and cut out my hand and then I glued and colored on the placemat. I picked out the color of their placemat and choose where they sat.

Puss In Boots- First Movie
Daddy and Mommy took me to my first movie today!!! We went and saw Puss In Boots. I was so excited, I was running in the parking lot to get to the movie. I really enjoyed the movie and did really good sitting still. I spent half the movie in my own seat and the other half sitting on mommy's lap. We brought our own popcorn (since the really buttery & fatty popcorn doesn't agree with my tummy) and grapes. I took my Boots toy and had a great time (you can see Boots yellow feather sticking out of my hand.)

10-31-11 Happy Halloween
10-27-11 Carving Pumpkins & Harvest Party
I really enjoyed painting my pumpkins and helping mommy and daddy carve theirs. Mommy said she was really shocked that I was willing to take out the slimy insides of the pumpkin and not "freak" out. I liked putting the pumpkins on the porch. I though the little green one was the scariest pumpkin. (The green ones are from our garden.)
My school hosted a Harvest Party, where everyone gets dressed up in their costumes. I was got all dressed up and was really excited to go to school. I got to dance with my daddy and some of the older girls that live next door. I got to eat popcorn, and got two bracelets. It was a great day!
10-22-11 Maris Farms
My friend Jordan had a birthday party at a Pumpkin Patch. It was really rainy so I wore my boots and rain coat. We had fun playing with the tether ball, going down the slides, splashing in the puddles, riding the ponies, walking through the pumpkin patch and going on a hay ride. I was very adamant about going on the hay ride, they were giving out milk, so I sat back and enjoyed the ride with a carton of chocolate milk! We went through a corn maze too, but I didn't like it because it was "too muddy". My two favorite things was watching the pigs race and riding "Ponyella" (that is what I named her).
10-18-11 Pumpkin Patch
I got my first cold from school and have been sick for the past two weekends. It was a nice day during the week, so we went to the pumpkin patch after daddy came home. (Also the rain was suppose to be coming in for a while.) I got was so excited to get our pumpkins. I told mommy and daddy I wanted a baby pumpkin. I liked picking up the pumpkins and putting them in the wheelbarrow. It was fun, but we didn't get to stay long because it was getting late.
10-9-11 Lion King Story Time
10-11 Fun with Friends
It is difficult to get together with friends now that I am in school. But, I always have lots of fun when I get together with two of my best friends, Hannah and Kyla. (Mommy always seems to forget her camera when I play with Kyla, so here are some cute pictures of Hannah and I in October.) We had an impromptu dance session at Starbucks.

9/30/11 Unlocking the Magical Kingdome
Grandpa Gary and Mommy took me to the Disney Store. I had to wear my princess dress and shoes. We got there before the store opened and were the first ones there. I got to help them open the store by using the HUGE key and unlocked the "Magical Kingdom". It was fun. I got a small key of my own as a souvenir. While we were waiting for the store to open, I had fun riding the escalator. Once inside, I played with "Tangled" and had Tangled climbing Tangles hair- just like the in the movie.
