5.24.13 Now A Scooter or a Worm

Zachary started getting up to his knees last week and today he started scooting, or it is more like a worm.  He gets up on this knees and then flattens out onto his tummy, which moves him a few inches.  Then he does it again.  He was going after a ball today. After a few times of getting close to the ball and knocking it further a way.  He got frustrated. Brought tears of joy to my eyes.  He is growing up so quickly.  I love seeing him do new things.

5.21.13 Climber

Alyssa's confidence has really been improving.  She is becoming more daring and really trying to do everything she sees the other kids do.  She want to climb up and over the gym equipment.  She had no issues with climbing up, Mommy freaked out and told her to wait until Daddy was here to help her go over and down.  Daddy went with us today, so she was quick to have him help her.  She did great, but had a little difficulty coming down.

Zachary had fun swinging with Daddy.

5.19.13 Lost Reindeer

If you know me, you know that I LOVE MY STUFFED AMIMALS (that is how I say it).  So, when I can't find one that I am wanting to play with, I can get VERY UPSET!  I decided that I wanted to play with Rudolph today and I couldn't find him.  After about an hour of looking, I lost it and threw a LARGE fit.  After about an hour, I finally calmed down.  Mommy and Daddy looked probably for about 6 hours total through out the day with no luck.  I decided to make Reindeer cookies, hoping that would bring him out of hiding.  I made a "Lost" poster (actually mommy did) and hung it up in my room.  Mommy, Zachary and I went on a walk around the neighborhood showing people my poster and asking if they had seen him.  I was getting really worried because it was going to be dark soon and I was worried that Rudolph would be scared and alone. I wanted to find the "Lost and Found" to see if he was there. As a last resort Mommy called Aunt Jill to see if we had left him there a few weeks ago.  And THANK GOODNESS, SHE FOUND HIM!!  I could rest knowing that Aunt Jill was keeping him company.  Now, I just wait until next weekend for him to return home.

5.17.13 Concert

Today Mommy, Zachary and I went to a Literary Concert performed by Eric Ode. We each received a book which I was especially excited about.  Zachary really liked the concert.  He loves music.  I was disappointed that he did not play my favorite song "I Love My Shoes". Mommy is not very good at taking pictures at an arm length, but this was the best picture.

5.16.13 Visitors

Grandma and Grandpa are home! Grandma and Grandpa are home! I am so excited that they are finally home from Arizona.  I wanted to make them cookies.  And little did I know that they came to visit today too.

Zachary is being a typical boy and laying on the couch.

Mommy has decided now that Grandma and Grandpa are back in town, it is time to try and start giving Zachary bottles every once in a while, so she can leave both of us and go out every once in a while.  Mommy was shocked when Zachary just grabbed the bottle and held it himself. Mommy is getting sad because he is growing up so quickly.

5.9.13 Mommy's Birthday

I am excited to see what tomorrow brings.  If Alyssa gets her way, it is going to be the best birthday ever.  Her and daddy "have work to do" (they have to get party hats and balloons). She is going to wake me up really early so we can decorate every room in the house.  Then she is going to make me Crab for breakfast.  Then I have to leave the house, because I get the day off.  When I come home all the party guests will be here (it is quite the list) and we will play pin the tail on the donkey and ring around the rosy! She insisted she bakes my cake tonight, so it is now in the oven.

Well, I did wake up early, 5:15 and started setting up.  I had some of the guests lined up and ready to play a game.  For breakfast we had donuts. I was "just joking" about the crab.  I made party hats for Daddy, Mommy, Zachary and I.  I told Mommy she would get the day off as soon as Daddy got home. But Daddy had different plans.  He took us all out to dinner.  When we got home, I finally got to sing "Happy Birthday" and eat cake and ice cream.

Mommy said she had a wonderful birthday and was excited to see that I tried to do everything on my list, but I am only 4, so I wasn't able to do some things.

5.6.13 Peek A Boo

Look who was peeking out from the couch.

5.6.13 Minnow & A Baby Sitter

I am being advanced to the next level in swimming I am now a Minnow!!  Mommy and Daddy have noticed that I have really been improving at swimming.  I seem more comfortable.  I really like my teacher, Mr. Blake.  I have been swimming with one of my besties, Kyla.  She was advanced too.

Mommy and Daddy were invited to a Cinco de Mayo party.  Grammy and Grandpa are usually the ones to baby sit me, but they are still in Arizona, so Mommy had to find a baby sitter.  It is very difficult for Mommy and Daddy to leave Zachary and I with someone.  But, they did not stray very far.  Aunt Jill was our baby sitter.  I was so excited to go to Aunt Jill's house.  I kept asking all day if it was time to go.  I was already to go, since I packed yesterday.  Zachary and I behaved for Aunt Jill and went to bed really easy.

5.3.13 Play Date At The Park

We had a fun picnic play date at the park with some our friends. Mommy had fun talking with Brandi and Sharon.  I had fun playing with Hannah.  Zachary didn't enjoy playing with Elli.  She kept stealing his toys.  Zachary was woken up from his nap, so he was a little crappy and didn't enjoy being touched by Elli. Alyssa went across the Monkey Bars with some help! After the park we went to Ice Cream.  It was a great time had by all enjoying the Seattle Sun!!

4.30.13 Dentist

I had a dentist appointment today and Mommy said I did AWESOME!!! I had a little help from Tangled (aka Rapunzel).  They even let me watch her movie.  I opened my mouth wide and let them look in my mouth, count my teeth, clean them and put on fluoride.  I even let the dentist look too.  I did this ALL with no screaming and fussing.  I was a little hesitant and scared, but I did it!!  I have 3 of my 6 year molars.  The dentist says that my top and bottom front teeth are loose too.  He said I should be loosing my bottom teeth in the next 3 months and my top two within 6 months!! Crazy!  I did so good that they let me pick two prizes and two stickers!!

4.29.13 Peek -A-Boo

Zachary loves his Blankie and loves playing Peek-A-Boo.

4.27.13 Opening Day

Daddy and I went to Opening Day Fishing again this year.  We didn't get up as early as last year.  We fished for about an hour, but "the fish were playing hard to get", so we packed up and came home.  It was fun and I can't wait to go another day and catch a fish.

4.25.13 On The Move

Zachary is now on the move.  He is rolling around the house now!  So, Alyssa now has to be more aware of her toys for two reasons.  We have been telling her that her small toys have to stay in her room, because he could choke on them and if he has worked hard rolling to get a toy, Daddy lets him have it (if its safe).  So, she is becoming more aware of what she does with her toys.  Lets hope that she gets better at picking them up too.

4.24.13 Children's Check Up & Park

In November and December I was having some White Stools, which really scared Mommy.  I also lost a little bit of weight.  She contacted my Surgeon Dr. Sawin and he consulted with my Short Gut Doctor.  I was put on some medication, which worked.  So, it was recommended I see Dr. Horslen in clinic.  Mommy knew that I would have to give blood, so she let me bring my entourage.  I took Blu, Rudolph, Dino and Bambi.  I was very scared to go into the room.  But once I went in, I did great. I didn't scream or cry.  Mommy was very proud with how brave I was.  I got a pink bandage too!!  The appointment went really well and the doctor was happy with my growth.  I have grown 2 1/2 inches since September!!! Mommy was shocked that he suggested that I eat more fruit!! As many of you know, I love fruit and eat A LOT already!  Next visit in 6 months.

It was a gorgeous day so, Mommy took Zachary and I to the park. This was the first time at the park and on a swing for Zachary and he I really loved it!

4.23.13 Teeth

Zachary's teeth finally broke through the skin.  He now has his bottom two teeth, they came out together!!
