The new foods I have tried this week are Squash, which I am not too fond of, but will eat anyway and Oatmeal. I love my Oatmeal, Rice Cereal, Bananas and Pears. I will open as wide as possible to get these foods in my mouth. I have started pulling up my legs so I am on my knees. I figured out that I can blow while I eat and started spitting my food out. I spit so hard that I got it in my eye. I am having fun eating, playing and sleeping. I am working on sitting up by myself.

Week in Review
I tried Green Beans, Pears and Prune Juice this week. And I liked them ALL. I continue to gain weight, I am now 13 Pounds! The dietitian is very excited about how I am doing that she said Mommy and Daddy can double the amount of solid food I am getting.Yippee! I got my first tooth (which sure is painful) and I have another one on the way. I continue to try and roll over but my arm gets in the way. I love my stuffed Giraffe. I got my 6 month pictures and got to wear a pretty dress and shoes for the first time.

I got to try Bananas yesterday and they sure were yummy!!!! I wanted more but crying didn't work. . . .Mommy and Daddy said tomorrow. Baby Steps they said. . . . Mommy and Daddy are excited with how well I am eating and keeping the food in my mouth. . . . HELLO, I am going to eat EVERYTHING I CAN!!!! . . . .I get so excited when the spoon comes near my mouth, I open my mouth as wide as possible. Mommy gets frustrated because I can't keep my head still with excitement. Happy Baby after eating. . . .

Finally Made The Chart
Alyssa had her check up on Firday. She is now 11 pounds 12.3 ounces and is now on the radar for weight. She is now 5% in weight. She is also 24 inches which is 50% in heigth. As predicted as soon as we are near her goal, they increase it. We are now 16 away from her goal. So again, we have a long road ahead of us. She really can never win. Her doctor wants to continue her on the TPN until she is close to 50% in weight. But the way she is going, we should get there soon.
Alyssa started on Rice Cereal this weekend. She wasn't too sure about it at first, but she is starting to get the hang of it and seems to like it. She even wanted to help out.
