I Love To Help

I love to help mommy cook. Today we made cupcakes. Here I am stirring up the batter. I love to mix and add the ingredients in.

Like Father Like Daughter

I have been playing a lot the past couple of weeks. Mommy joined a Mommy and Me Group and we have been going on some play dates that gets me around other kids my age. I have been having a lot of fun going to the park. It gives mommy a chance to meet some other people that live by us too.

Mommy and Daddy introduced me to this great stuff called Ketchup!!! I really like it. I dip french fries, chicken nuggets and even my fingers in it. I really like eating it all by itself, but mommy says that it is not a food group. So in between finger scoop fulls I eat a piece of piece of chicken or two. I also love eating cereal (Rice Krispies are my favorite). I grab a handful from mommy and daddy's bowl. Mommy finally got smart and give me my own bowl now. I really like corn on the cob too.

Daddy has built a tunnel at our house and I absolutely LOVE going through it. I make everyone go through it too. I enjoy reading books (Daddy gave me a flashlight, so I can see), playing chase and taking my stuffed animals in the tunnel.

Love Being Outside

I love being outside. . . .I have so much fun. I am getting really confident in going down the slide all by myself. I love playing in the water and "working". I still go get the mail and love it when we find a key in the mailbox. I don't know why we don't get to keep it . . . . we just leave it in the 2nd mailbox when we get our large package. I love keys. I take mommy and daddy's keys and and open every door. I was assigned a new job at Grandpa's house. I pick up pine cones and get paid. I enjoy it because I get my own bucket to carry around. We found a frog in the backyard and I was very excited to hold it. I have been playing more golf and I enjoy carrying around my clubs.

Mommy speaking. . . . .

We bought Alyssa a coloring book and crayons a month or so ago and have been showing her how to color. She hasn't really gotten it until today. She sat down and Grandpa Gary showed her how to do it again and it just clicked. She used quite a few different colors and colored the whole picture. She was even holding the crayon right. She's a lefty! She was so proud of herself. The picture turned out pretty good for a 21 month old.
