I love to help mommy cook. Today we made cupcakes. Here I am stirring up the batter. I love to mix and add the ingredients in.

Alyssa was born September 2, 2008 with a bowel obstruction. Surgery was performed at Children's Hospital in Seattle, WA 8 hours after birth. She had a jejunal blockage that left her with 51cm of bowel. The portion of bowel beyond the obsturuction had never been used and was very small. She was diagnosed with Short Gut Syndrome. Zachary Edward joined our family September7, 2012. He was born with a condition called PHPV. He is blind in his left eye. We are blessed with two amazing kids!

Grandpa Gary got two of her cupcakes and they were really good. It's so funny to see her anticipate the next ingredients that need to go in she kept reaching for the eggs until someone added them so she could mix them in.
That is some pretty fantastic helping Alyssa. Can you change diapers? If so, I have a job for you!
