Weekly Update

We are keeping busy. I love to sit. . .I like to sit on the steps and on boxes. I just sit down and swing my legs. . . . .There are these really neat chairs at the library. I like to sit on every single one of them. The other day I didn't want to leave. I started crying so Mommy let me stay a while longer. But the second time the crying didn't work. We left. . . . .One of my new things is that I show "I don't know" Mommy and Daddy think it is really funny. Mommy and Daddy took me to the park on Friday because the weather was so nice. I went down the slide, rode in a swing, played on a train and in the dirt. I really like the train. I tried the crying thing again to keep us from leaving. It didn't work. . . .

Library

Today Mommy and I went to the library. It was the first time I had ever been there. It was really neat there were lots and lots of books for me to look at. Mommy let me bring 4 home with us to look at. There was also a daycare group of preschoolers visiting. I crawled right up to them and wanted to see what they were doing. They were sitting in some chairs at a table and I had to join in. It was fun watching them walk around and look at books too.

I started playing with my rocking horse. I have been scared of it in the past and didn't want to go near it. But I am starting to warm up to it. I like patting the horsey and giving it hugs and kisses.

I have recently learned how to open doors. Here is me opening up one of my favorite places. . . .the pantry.

Mommy and Daddy are a little worried, I have had a few diarrhea accidents in the past couple days. This is something that hasn't happened in quite a while. Mommy is thinking it may be too much fat in my diet. She said that I have to lay off the cookies!!!!!! Mommy and Daddy have been becoming more relaxed with my diet and I have been able to get small bites of "The Good Stuff"!!!

Play Date

I had my first play date this week. My Auntie Michelle brought up my friends Taylor and Jordan. We played all day and I had so much fun.

Mommy and I have been keeping busy. I really enjoy having her home and have finally started to acknowledge her by "Mama". Daddy hasn't heard it yet, but I have said it. This has made Mommy very happy. I have been helping Mommy around the house. Unloading the dishwasher and cooking dinner. I love handing her the pots and lids I think she should use. I am working on feeding myself my bottle and with a spoon. Mommy is trying to transition me off the bottle. I only get two bottles a day now. The rest of the time, I have to use a cup, which I don't like very much. I am also trying to brush my own teeth. I like playing golf with my Daddy. I got another tooth in this week and another is about to come through.

Now that I am a stay at home mom

Now that I am a stay at home mom, I won't has as many excuses of not updating the blog.

We have all been pretty busy the past couple of weeks. Mommy and I moved back home now that Grandma and Grandpa Wejrowski have flown south for the winter and mommy's leg is getting better. She is now walking and able to carry me around. Mommy has retired from work for a little while. We are going to have so much fun. Today is her first day and I am trying to be good. I took a nap by myself in my pack in play for 2 hours!!!

Mommy and Daddy have been trying to get me to eat some different foods. Lately I have tried a Tuna Fish Sandwich, Egg Salad Sandwich, Hamburger with all the fixings (Ketchup, Mustard, Pickle and Onion) and Tomatoes. I liked them all. In fact I ate almost an entire McDonald's Cheeseburger and a third of a tomato.

I am still not walking on my own, but am getting closer. Mommy and Daddy have caught me standing without holding anything a few times. I have also taken a couple steps on my own because Daddy moved the ottoman in the family room further back and I can't grab onto it as easily. I love pushing around my toys and giving Minnie a ride.

We are starting to wonder if Alyssa is aware that we have been concerned with her weight????
