2.24.12 Improvements

We have been noticing a lot of improvement in Alyssa the past month. She continues to talk more and more. She is a real chatter box and we are always amazed with what comes out of her mouth. It is so neat to see what what words she knows and that she uses them in the correct context. Her bus driver calls her a mimic and commented on how clearly she is speaking. The past few days she has been talking to EVERYONE we see.

We were so happy to see that she truly jumped for the first time. Knees bent, push off, both feet off the ground at the same time, knees bent landing. She has been running and jumping all the time. I have started calling her my little Jumpin' Jellybean!

Her endurance is increasing. We have been taking walks around the neighborhood and she has been running our route, which is about 1/4 mile. and then some. It is so encouraging. She has also been walking up the stairs almost all the time alternating feet without us reminding her.

2.20.12 Dance Party

I LOVE BIRTHDAY'S AND BIRTHDAY PARTIES. It is always someone's birthday at our house. I also love putting on dance parties. So, I was so excited when it was my friend Alyssa's birthday party and she was having her birthday party at a ballet dance studio. So, it was my first REAL dance party. I really enjoyed the dancing. Mommy said I did a really good job and was participating the entire time. Mommy even left for about 5 minutes and I didn't freak out and still listened to the teacher. It was a lot of fun. I think Mommy and Daddy are going to sign me up for dance lessons now. (The last picture is with her friends Annabelle Alyssa B and Alyssa S)

2.10.12 Seashell

I finally got my seashell that I wanted for Christmas. Santa didn't bring it for Christmas. But Uncle Dave said that he found the package at his house from Santa. I was so excited. I really love it!!

12.11.12 Valentine's Day Delivery

I received my Valentine's Day presents early. I got a stuffed Bambi doll from Mommy & Daddy. (Which I loved taking for a stroller ride outside.) Then I received a box in the mail from Grammy & Grandpa Wejrowski. I love when we get the special key to open the large box.

2.5.12 Cavalia

Mommy and Daddy have been telling me for months that I would be going to a pony show. And today I finally got to see lots and lots of ponies. I did pretty good for the first part of the show which was an hour but was really antsy and fussy during the second half. I actually ended up falling asleep. I really wanted to ride one of the ponies. But NO ONE would let me. I was pretty upset. I picked out my favorite horse. I love the white horse which is a Spanish Purebred. After the show, we received a tour of the stables and got to see where the ponies rested. I was really upset when I saw that one of the horses had an owwie on its back. (Mommy says that it is one of the bare back horses and that they had put medicine on the owwie to make it all better.)
