So, we are now at 18 cc's per hour. But at the same time they increased her goal today to 30. But, we are still over half way there. Alyssa's goal is a never ending up hill battle. She continues to do well tolerating her feeds. If everything continues as it is, the doctor's said we will be home before Thanksgiving. That would make this the best Thanksgiving EVER!
Alyssa wasn't feeling the greatest yesterday. She was very gassy and just looked uncomfortable. She is doing better today and is looking more like herself.

Alyssa was born September 2, 2008 with a bowel obstruction. Surgery was performed at Children's Hospital in Seattle, WA 8 hours after birth. She had a jejunal blockage that left her with 51cm of bowel. The portion of bowel beyond the obsturuction had never been used and was very small. She was diagnosed with Short Gut Syndrome. Zachary Edward joined our family September7, 2012. He was born with a condition called PHPV. He is blind in his left eye. We are blessed with two amazing kids!

Alyssa is so beautiful! We are all very anxious for you guys to finally get to bring her home. That will make Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve for our family complete
