Alyssa was born September 2, 2008 with a bowel obstruction. Surgery was performed at Children's Hospital in Seattle, WA 8 hours after birth. She had a jejunal blockage that left her with 51cm of bowel. The portion of bowel beyond the obsturuction had never been used and was very small. She was diagnosed with Short Gut Syndrome. Zachary Edward joined our family September7, 2012. He was born with a condition called PHPV. He is blind in his left eye. We are blessed with two amazing kids!

I bet she can get in more than four - just wait until she discovers that whole second hand! Glad to see her playing and having fun.
You are such a sweetie pie. You look better and better all the time. Oh boy, what are Mom & Dad going to do once you start crawling all over the place. I don't think anything is going to hold you back. Keep having fun!
