Merry Christmas

I had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

On Christmas Eve I put on my new Christmas PJ's and snuggled in with Mommy and Daddy in front of the Christmas Tree. Mommy read "The Night Before Christmas" and Daddy read "The Polar Express". I got to hold and ring the bell while Daddy read his story. I really liked ringing the bell. My favorite thing was pulling the presents out of Santa's Bag in "The Night Before Christmas" Book. I was really excited for Christmas and didn't want to go to sleep. Daddy finally took me upstairs and made me go to bed.

On Christmas morning we opened presents. I had so much fun pulling out all the goodies from my stocking (and mommy's) and opening all my presents. Since I was doing such a good job, I got to open everyone eles's presents too. The only thing that I didn't understand is once I opened a gift why I had to put it aside and open another. I wanted to immediately play with everything I opened. . . . . .We had a wonderful dinner of Prime Rib that Daddy and Uncle Dave made. I helped Mommy make the Twice Baked Potatoes. We received rave reviews.

I received lots of really neat gifts from near and far. I sure do have lots of friends. Thank you to everyone that thought of me for Christmas. A couple of my favorite gifts were my monkey backpack, books, telephone and my Little People Playschool.

I hope everyone had a wonderful, safe, and restful Christmas. It has been a crazy year and we look forward to an uneventful 2010.
