Okay, I know, I know. I have been a terrible blogger. I have been extremely self absorbed with my knee surgery and recovery that I have not allowed Alyssa to make any updates. Enough of that, here is Alyssa.
Thank you mommy. . . .

Thank you mommy. . . .
So I continue to refuse to walk on my own. I don't want mommy to feel bad that I am walking before her. So, I have been walking on my knees. I am getting really good at using sign language to say that I want "more" or that I want to "eat". I am getting on a better sleeping schedule. Probably because I am always so busy entertaining grandma, grandpa and mommy and am going to "work" . My jobs are to get the mail with grandpa since mommy can't do it right now, I shred paper and help grandma in the kitchen. (Grandma says that I seem to get in the way more then actually help.)
I have learned who Santa Claus is. I get a huge smile on my face whenever mommy and daddy mention him. I am in training for Christmas. Grandpa and Mommy have been wrapping up books, food etc and showing me how to open them so can open my own presents from Santa on Christmas Day. Daddy took me to meet Santa. I didn't like him very much. He was pretty scary. I started crying. Daddy had the lady take my picture a few times with Santa and was able to get one with me not crying, but I wasn't smiling.
I have been off my belly medicine for about a month and a half and haven't had any diarrhea. Mommy and Daddy are very excited. I just had my 15 month check up and I weigh 23.4 pounds and am 32 1/4 inches tall. I am in the 90th percentile in height and 50th for weight. Mommy and Daddy are so excited, what a difference from a year ago.
I hope everyone has a Happy and Safe Christmas. Mommy says she is going to try and let me update about what Santa Brings me.

Yes, what a difference a year makes, I guess that made it a great year! And next December? You'll be sure to be outrunning Mommy and that fixed up knee of hers. Merry Christmas !
