Today Alyssa had her Upper GI Test. 6 1/2 long hours later we finally finished. It was not a fun experience trying to get her to drink the Barium needed to conduct the test and deal with a mean doctor. Who was irritated that a 11 month old would not sit still and was fighting the Barium. After he started getting snippy with me about her not drinking it, I got snippy right back and he started to be nicer. Come on. . . .what do you expect from an almost 1 year old.
Well, her first word was uttered. . . . . . . . and it was da da. . . . . . NJ is very excited! She hasn't associated it with him but it will be a matter of days with how excited NJ is. Our little girl is growing up so fast. Next thing we now, she is going to be talking words non stop.

Alyssa, you are getting to be such a big girl, and such a cutie-pie. Now that you are saying Da-Da, you have to remember that you need to call that out when you need attention during the middle of the night. It's hard to believe that you will be a whole year old in a few days. You've come along way. Have a Fun & Happy Birthday. I'm sending you lots of hugs and kisses. Sharon B
