Since Alyssa continues to avoid talking. I have been working with her on learning sign language, so we can communicate. I got a video from the library and she really enjoys watching it. She actually sits still and watches it. Which those that know her is a huge accomplishment in keeping still.
The words that she speaks are: Mommy, Momma, Dadda, Baby, Bus, Bye
Words that she signs: Up, Down, More, Please, Eat, Drink, Thank You, Dog, Apple, Again, Baby, Book, Help
Working on Signing: Dadda and Grandpa, Aunt, Change, Potty
She is trying to say more and often you hear her say words but she doesn't say them consistently. She is working on saying Yes, and Licorice.
