I love to eat. . . . .for breakfast this morning, I had a cereal bar, 1/2 a banana and a whole pancake. Daddy put chocolate chips in them today. They were yummy. . . . .here is me trying to use my fork.

Alyssa was born September 2, 2008 with a bowel obstruction. Surgery was performed at Children's Hospital in Seattle, WA 8 hours after birth. She had a jejunal blockage that left her with 51cm of bowel. The portion of bowel beyond the obsturuction had never been used and was very small. She was diagnosed with Short Gut Syndrome. Zachary Edward joined our family September7, 2012. He was born with a condition called PHPV. He is blind in his left eye. We are blessed with two amazing kids!

Looks like Alyssa knows how to use her fork but her right had is still faster so that's going to be what she uses for a while.
