Arizona

I just got back from Arizona. . . . .it was a lot of fun. I got to play outside EVERY DAY in the sun and warmth. I love being outdoors. Grandma and Grandpa were very excited to see me. There retirement community has car seats, pack n plays, pools, push toys, high chairs etc for me to visit. So that made things easier for mommy to bring me. Grandpa blew up my pool in the backyard. But, I was scared to go swimming, but I did play with the pool. I went to the Tuscon zoo. That was really fun. I got to see Giraffe's, Turtles, ducks, snakes, Peacocks, Flamingos and Apes, Jaguars etc. My favorites were the snakes (??? why ??? I have no clue), Polar Bears, ducks, Apes and Giraffes. I got to get really close to the giraffes.

I loved Grandpa's golf cart. I loved driving around and honking the horn. I got really good at honking the horn. Grandpa's neighbor Dennis really like hearing me honk the horn. He says he knew whenever I was outside. . . . .Someone needed to noise things up around that place.

Mommy painted my toes for our trip to the sun. I really liked how my toes looked. I was showing my "pretty toes" to anyone that wanted to see.

I think we can say it is official that I AM WALKING!!!!! I walk more then I crawl now. Although it is usually holding mommy or daddy's hand. I usually crawl over to one of them grab their hand and lead them to where I want to go. I am walking on my own too. Not all the time, but I am starting to gain my confidence. I like walking to mommy, daddy and grandma. But not so much to grandpa. He has to pay me. I will walk for money. As soon as he pulls out that dollar bill I am on my way over. :0)

My hair is getting long and mommy started putting my hair in pig tails. She thinks it is really cute. I am not too sure yet.

Mommy had been working really hard since she has been home in getting me into a good routine. When mommy first stopped working, I was taking four bottles a day. I am now down to one. I just get my night time bottle, which I fall asleep with. Mommy's says her next task is to get me to fall asleep on my own. Which she has started to do. When I am getting drowsy and almost asleep, mommy puts me in my crib hoping I fall asleep. Today I did that. Mommy put me in my crib, I tried fighting it, but mommy kept laying me back down and sat next to the bed until I fell asleep. Let's see how long it takes until I can put her down and just walk out the door. . . . .
