Nothing too exciting has been going on for us at the Brost household. Daddy has been sick and passed it on to me. I have been spiking a fever off and on. I get mad at Mommy and Daddy whenever they try to put me down. I feel SOOOO much better when they hold and cuddle with me. I tried carrots this week and prunes and sweet potatoes last week and liked them all and have decided I don't like peas any more. It takes me a few bites to decide if I like what food they are giving me. They have tried to trick me a few times and give me peas. But, I am smarter then that. I figured out that if I blow through my lips when I have food in my mouth, I can make noises. I think Mommy and Daddy think it is funny even though they try to keep a serious look on their faces. It is pretty funny to hear the noises and see the stuff come flying out of my mouth. It makes me smile. I started sitting in my high chair. I really like it. It is nice to be on the same level as mommy and daddy. They put toys on my tray and I just play.

Nothing too exciting going on? I'll bet you've been waiting for the day you could say that and think it's a good thing :) Excellent! Alyssa is sure turning into a smiley girl, she must be liking that food, except those peas of course -- but who can blame her?!

So glad to hear that Alyssa is developing her own taste. Maybe soon she will learn how to spray the food she doesn't like around the kitchen or at least get it into her hair ;)

That is wonderful news to hear "Nothing too exciting is going on". Kim, it was great to run into you and Alyssa at Children's yesterday in the parking lot, not in Alyssa's room! She looks great.

So glad to see that Alyssa is doing better. Tomorrow she will be stepping on your feet and soon she will stepping on your heart. You may understand this now but someday you will. Sending you lots of love from MIchigan!!! Hope to see you all soon.

In pictire #3 it looks like Allysa is praying for more food. In picture #4 it looks like she is pleading for more food and in picture #5 she is clenching her fist and threating if you don't give me more food I'll punch you out. She's just so darn cute.
